Drinking water in the morning is a really great habit to get in to because there are so many benefits that come from it.

Be sure to also check out all the reasons why you need to purify your drinking water. If we're going to be drinking all this water, it might as well be free of chemical and pharmaceutical residues. You'll also want to know why you need to remove fluoride from your water as well...and how.

Why Drinking Water In The Morning Is So Beneficial -
And How To Do It

Drinking water in the morning has a long list of benefits. The point of this is to bring these benefits into your conscious thought so that you can begin this new habit.

The benefits below are based upon drinking 16-32 oz. of water, right after waking up every single morning on an empty stomach. The amount of water is deterministic of your body size, weight and activity level. In other words, larger people will need more than smaller people.

It usually takes me several minutes to do this. My routine is to drink 16oz of water right away and then I drink another 16oz over the next 10-15 minutes. Then I start sipping my morning cup of coffee. It will take a little bit of adjusting to learn how much water you should have in the morning.

What we're aiming for is to drink enough so that when you need to pee later on, you should be peeing clear. This indicates that you are fully hydrated. The darker the color of your urine, the more dehydrated you are and the more water you need.

What we're not aiming for is to drink so much water that you risk throwing your electrolyte balance off depending on what minerals your water already has in it. We don't want too much of a good thing.

Rehydrating with water is key. Coffee, juice or any other beverage don't qualify for the benefits listed below. You can have those after you've had your water.

Once you begin drinking water in the morning, and you get the right amount dialed in, you will begin seeing the following benefits:

  • You are likely dehydrated in the morning because you have gone all night with nothing to drink. You lose water through simple respiration. Don't allow yourself to get dehydrated.
  • Helps you lose weight. Drinking water in the morning gets your metabolism off to a great start right from the beginning of the day.
  • Gives your body the clean fluids it needs to remove toxins out of your body first thing in the day. This has been known to help cure diseases and ailments.
  • Fuels your brain to allow you to think more clearly since brain cells contain about 85% water.
  • Helps your body produce "new blood", called haematopoiesis, which has many positive effects on vitality, health and strength.
  • Cleanses the digestive system allowing better absorption of nutrients.
  • Clearer skin and eyes.
  • Works wonders for the lymphatic system which has its hand in all kinds of functions of the body.

Drinking Water In The Morning - Summary

Since I have started doing this over the past several years, I notice that I always feel better overall and I don't get the morning fog like I did before.

It helps me keep excess weight off and I also notice that I tend not to eat as much as well. This may also have something to do with helping to balance out regulatory hormones like the ones that control hunger and appetite.

Drinking water in the morning for me is just a part of my daily routine. I just do it without even thinking about it because it has become a habit. There isn't a single reason to stop this practice and I have every confidence that this will help you achieve vitality, health and strength.

As stated above, I can't stress enough how important it is to be certain that the water you're guzzling here is as pure as possible and free of contaminants. Without a quality water purifier, you could also be drinking everything from pesticides, pharmaceuticals and even chemical components of rocket fuel...believe it or not.

This is a great way to kick off every day of your life and lays the foundation for achieving vitality, health and strength.
